Chrysta Brown is a Ballet teacher at Addicted 2 Dance.“Miss Chrysta” Brown is a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where she earned degrees in Human Rights Education and Dance Performance, graduating with both academic and dance honors. At SMU, she performed the works of Donald McKayle, Paul Taylor, Jose Limon, and Robert Battle.

After college, she moved to Denver, CO, where she danced and choreographed for Ascential Dance Colorado and Peek-a-Boo Sole Productions. Since moving back to Philadelphia, she has worked with Roger Lee Dance and Keila Cordova Dances.

Brown is currently working on her MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in Nonfiction and spends most of her time writing about dancing and teaching dance.
