Denise Walsh

“Miss Denise” Walsh attended the University of the Arts for two years before transferring to Temple University, where she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.

In 1984, Walsh purchased Le Roux School or Dance and went on to successfully operate this school for 12 years. After this time she made a life decision to spend more time with her children and husband and sold Le Roux.

Walsh has continued to keep very busy in the world of dance. She has choreographed for elementary school musicals and has taught at local dance studios. She has written dance curriculum, which is used at The Goddard School and has written several dance programs for Sports Clubs for Kids, a national organization, featuring Mini Gymmies, Stompin Rhythms, CheerTastics and Dance T.V.

After two years of teaching at Addicted 2 Dance, Miss Denise has left the classroom to become Assistant Director of our growing school.

This new position allows her the opportunity to mentor all the instructors as well as be a valuable point of contact for parents and dancers when needed. We are so glad to have Miss Denise and her expertise in this role at A2D!
