F. Scott (“Mr. Scott”) Stampone originates from Jenkintown, PA where, after those formative years of invaluable training with teachers like “Miss Aubrey” Conley and those at the Metropolitan Ballet Academy, he mustered the courage to head off to NYC to study dance at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a smorgasbord of dance masters and bodywork wizards including Pam Pietro, Joy Kellman, Renée Redding-Jones, James Sutton, James Martin, Cherylyn Lavagnino, Gus Solomons Jr, Rashaun Mitchell, Jolinda Menendez, TaraMarie Perri, Gwen Welliver, Sean Curran, Lynn Martin, and Irene Dowd.
Stampone recently performed on the iconic Inside/Out stage at Jacob’s Pillow alongside the incredible artists of MADboots and looks forward to what the future brings.
Since graduating in May, he has been experimenting with lots of movement in hopes of further solidifying his own artistic voice. He aims to create a safe and loving space where exploration, experimentation, and creation can happen without judgment or the illogical fear of being wrong.
Stampone believes that when we weed out the irrational, engrained mental patterns we cling to and the ideas of who we are artistically and what dance is, then we can really tap into our infinite creative spiritual source within. Only when we are able to let go, when we stop holding on to the past, can miraculous things happen through us.
It is his goal to unblock ourselves from these destructive mind patterns and limiting beliefs that hold us back from reaching our potential. We are all beautiful creatures capable of making truly wonderful art. Let’s dance!
