Samantha Braine

Samantha Braine is a ballet teacher at Addicted 2 Dance.“Miss Samantha” Braine is a Junior Modern major at The University of the Arts on scholarship. Last summer, Braine spent six weeks on full scholarship training in Colorado at the Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School under the direction of Linda Kent (currently a teacher at The Juilliard School). There, she studied ballet, modern, gaga, partnering, contemporary, pointe, and many other styles with teachers from around the world. She was set in a piece choreographed by Alvin Ailey’s Robert Battle which was an amazing experience!

Braine grew up dancing at her home studio in Parlin, New Jersey. Alongside her studio directer, Gina Forcella, her mother, Melissa Braine, has also been teaching at her studio for the past 25 years.

Miss Samantha competed in various regional and national competitions growing up where she was a regional outstanding dancer numerous times at NYCDA and held the title of Miss Starbound her senior year. She also performed at the Joyce Theater in New York in a show with The Thang Dao Dance Company.

Miss Samantha is excited to apply her skills and work with Addicted 2 Dance students!
