Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, “Miss Michelle” has been dancing since the age of 4 at Strictly Rhythm Dance Center (SRDC). SRDC is best known for being ranked the top dance studio in the nation by the Federation of Dance Competitions for three consecutive years.
During her time as a competition dancer, Tatiya won many regional and national high scores and titles. She has performed with artists such as MC Hammer and Mya and has also performed at the Kennedy Center under the direction of Debbie Allen. She has won many scholarship awards at conventions and most recently was fortunate enough to become a Pulse Protege.
Miss Michelle is now continuing her training as a junior jazz performance major on scholarship at the University of the Arts. She is very excited to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to the students of A2D!
