Hip-Hop students at Addicted 2 Dance (A2D) in Ambler got a surprise treat today when dance star Russell Ferguson, winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 6, visited the studio to demonstrate, learn, teach, and inspire.
Ferguson, a friend of A2D Instructors Kennith Thomas and David Crosby, spent time with a collection of Hip-Hop classes including Senior Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop Production, and our younger 5-7 and 8-12 year old Hip-Hop.
After observing some routines, Ferguson got into the swing of things with both “Mr. Kenny” and “Mr. David” – check out some of their amazing moves in the below video!
After class, Ferguson had a chance to answer specific questions from A2D dancers about his career, how he got started, and what it takes to be a professional dancer.
His packed visit also included many pictures with excited students and staff members. He even had a chance to autograph a shirt!
Thankfully, Ferguson will be returning to Addicted 2 Dance on Thursday, May 17 to teach two master classes for ages listed below. Specific details on registration and pricing will be announced soon.
- 4:00-5:30p – 8-12 year old
- 5:30-7:00p – Teen Intermediate/Advanced
Many thanks to Russell Ferguson for visiting and spending time with our dancers today!
