Happy Halloween Weekend!
First, an important reminder that A2D is CLOSED on Monday, October 31, to allow our dancers to enjoy trick or treating.
The exceptions are:
Petite Ballet Company – 4:00-5:00
Junior Modern Company – 4:00-5:00
Senior Modern Company – 5:00-6:00
Also, because of the impending cold, rain and possibly SNOW expected on Saturday, (we’re starting to think Mother Nature HATES Ambler events!) – we have postponed our Monster Mash/Trick or Treat Ambler until next Saturday, hoping for nicer weather. The event will occur from 11:00-1:00 next Saturday, November 5, as long as we don’t get a tsunami. :)
Even without our Saturday Ambler event, our “Dancing in Costume” at the studio DOES continue through Saturday. Please feel free to come and dance in your Halloween costume! |

PLEASE reserve these dates.
Our dress rehearsal will be CLOSED this year
(dancers only)
so pictures will be a perfect way to capture your dancer looking beautiful in her/his costume(s)!
It’s also important to have everyone present for the class pictures.

All dancers will have a $25 Deposit for photos, which goes toward the purchase of their pictures.
Additional information will be available closer to the picture dates.

| Auto Pay & Costumes…
If you are on EFT (Auto Pay) for your tuition, your costumes will NOT automatically be charged. EVEN IF you initialed for the charge to be applied to your card. We apologize for this, but we were unable to make this happen this year with our new system.
If you WOULD like us to charge your card on file, we can…we just need specific permission from you via email or call.

| Lost & Found
Even though it’s only the end of October, the lost & found bin in the Dancer’s Lounge is ALREADY nearly filled.
Please, before calling to ask if your dancer’s shirt, sweatshirt or shoes have gone home with another dancer, PLEASE come and check this bin. Also, almost all shoes we find daily still have NO NAMES in them. This makes it impossible to notify the dancer/family.
We have instructed the teachers to try to look around the dance studios before the kids all leave – but many items are left in the cubbies nightly.
Also, the toys and books in the parent lounge are provided as a convenience. We’d like to continue to leave these toys, but PLEASE clean up after your own children.

A VERY BUSY SATURDAY!
Company Dancers started last Saturday, October 22, earlier than normal, serving up a Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s Restaurant.

- REQUESTS -
Dress Code – After two weeks of “fun dressing”, with Spirit Week and Halloween, next week, beginning November 1, we will be getting back to Dress Code. We are beginning a process of updating our website, which will include more pictures and video clips of classes. It is essential that dancers are in A2D dress code, hair is properly pulled back (ALL classes require hair to be pulled back- ballet, bun only).
Hair Ties – We have provided, and gone through a LOT of hair ties at the front desk. If anyone feels like “donating” new hair ties, any color, to the front desk – we would surely appreciate it. We have more than a handful of girls a DAY who ask for them. You never know, it may be YOUR dancer who needs them.
Donation boxes – Please remember there are donation boxes in the front lobby – for not only shoes, but lightly used leotards, booty shorts, skirts and jazz pants. The youth leotard bin is over half full, if anyone is in need. If you have anything to donate to these boxes, it’s a great way to clear out some space in your own dance drawer!
Reminder – Next week November tuition is due.
November 15 ALL costume payments are due in full.
