A2D’s Food Drive & Toys For Tots
A2D will be holding a food drive until we close for winter break to benefit Mattie N. Dixon Food Cupboard in Ambler. Bring in a non-perishable food item to add to our bounty, and you’ll be able to register for a gift of your own…a Sugar & Bruno item from Bella’s Dance Shop!
We will also once again be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Please bring these items in to share with a less fortunate boy or girl.

One of the “perks” of Ambler…FREE Parking in December! Please save your quarters, dimes and nickels from now until after the New Year when parking in Ambler – whether it’s coming for dance class or coming in to shop, dine or see a show.

Costume & Class Update
Costumes for the 2012 Recital “Dancing With Disney” have now been ordered. Any existing students currently enrolled in classes will no longer be allowed to change classes without incurring additional costume charges.
Dancers have costumes ordered for the classes in which they are currently enrolled. If a dancer should switch classes, or drop a class, the dancer still owns the costume paid for for their original class.
The options in this case are:
1. If someone joins the class, and is the same size as the dancer who left the class and owns the costume, they may sell the costume to that new student to get their original payment back (the front desk will help facilitate this transaction).
2. The dancer will own the currently ordered costume AND need to additionally purchase the costume for their newly joined class. Costumes ordered separately from the initial order may incur additional charges to cover shipping, etc.

Pancake Breakfast!
The A2D Company Dance Team is turning in their ballet, jazz and hip hop shoes for running shoes on Sunday, December 18, as they serve as the host and wait staff at Applebee’s Restaurant at 202 and Germantown Pike.
The all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast and choice of beverage, will be the dancers’ second go around at the Applebee’s hosted fundraiser. Everyone who attended last time noted the great food, prepared by Applebee’s chefs, and the fantastic service by the A2D Company Dancers.
The tickets, just $7 for adults and $5 for children, can be purchased from any Company Dancer or at the door the morning of the event. The proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the dancers’ Disney trip this June, or other costs incurred by the dancers during their competition season.
