Please view THIS LINK for COSTUME DETAILS. It’s VERY important everyone is dressed in the proper costume including tights, socks, or any other accessories that may go with your costume.
ALL female DANCERS MUST have their hair pulled back in a TIGHT BUN for the entire recital. We provide hair & makeup by Maria Fabiani, owner of “Salon Envy” in Ambler. All appointments and payments MUST be made at the front desk by June 7th. Cost is $15 for BOTH hair & makeup or $10 for just makeup, $10 for just hair. (Cash only please). Maria has all the supplies needed.
MAKEUP is standard (HEAVY) stage makeup which consists of the following:
Blush
Bronzer
Eye Liner
Brown eye shadow to crease
Sparkle tan to brow
Mascara – (False eyelashes are always great and most dancers use them.)
Lipstick (pink or red – match costume)
Body glitter/sparkles are optional – (DO NOT spray indoors!)
Stage earrings optional (if earrings are desired, studs only. Stage earrings are available to purchase in Bella’s Dance Shop – pierced and clip on).
NO extra jewelery including, necklaces, rings, bracelets, anklebracelets, belly rings, etc. will be allowed.
PLEASE NO PAINTED Fingers or toes. Keep them nude/light. NO stick on tattoos, etc.
Dress rehearsal means FULL costume, and FULL hair (bun) and makeup. It’s our opportunity to make sure all dancers look stage-ready. We may give feedback that certain dancers need more or less makeup, tighter buns, etc.
FLOWERS,T-SHIRTS & GIFTS!
We will be selling beautiful flower arrangments at the recital from $8-$15. Bella’s dance shop is coming along with fun dance attire, gifts AND we will be introducing some NEW A2D GEAR!
Cash/Checks & Credit Cards accepted at the recital for flowers, apparel, gifts & tickets.
DANCE PORTRAIT PROOFING -
We are currently working out another dance portrait proofing day to accommodate our families who could not make it in.
We are looking to have American Dance Portraits return with a representative on Saturday, June 2 at our dress rehearsal. If all works out, we will schedule parents needing to proof the portraits in 15 minute increments. A follow up email will be sent once everything is in place for this addition. Parents will need to call or stop into the front desk to place their timed appointment.
