A2D’s Disney Moment
What a day! After months of practice, Addicted 2 Dance (A2D) Company performed an amazing routine in front of hundreds of spectators at Downtown Disney in Disney World!
After dealing with on-and-off rain from Hurricane Debby earlier in the week, both dancers and fans alike were in a festive mood for the afternoon performance.
The performance included 33 dancers aged 7-19 from A2D’s competitive Company teams with choreography from A2D co-owner and Artistic Director Aubrey Conley.

Expert Dance Classes from Disney Dance Professionals
To complete the day, dancers took part in either the Senior Dance Workshop or the Mini Dance Workshop based on age. The Senior Dancers had a chance to go through a mock Disney audition – they learned a brand new routine from scratch and performed it in front of Disney Staff. The staff also educated dancers on the type of experience required to perform with Disney and how performers carry themselves both on and off stage.
The Minis had a separate session geared towards their age and experience … and even got to dance with Goofy! Wow!
An Amazing Experience
Overall, the dance-filled day was a complete success. Many A2D parents traveled to Orlando to watch their children perform and spend some fun family time at Disney World. One parent remarked, “We’re so appreciative for our daughter’s once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on a Disney stage. She enjoyed it tremendously and know her fellow dancers did too.”
A2D looks forward to future trips and performances during the 2012-2013 season!
