Meet Miss Sierra

“Miss Sierra” Clark has trained in dance since she was eight years old. During her pre-professional career, she trained under dancers such as Philadanco alumni, Wayne Saint David, and Gabriele Guma.

During high school, she trained under the direction of Aubrey Conley, and after dancing with the company for four years, graduated from Addicted 2 Dance.

Sierra spent her first year of college abroad in Spain at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and currently holds an Associate in Business Administration from Montgomery County Community College, while finishing her Bachelor’s in Business Management at Temple University.

She currently dances for the Danco 2 Apprentice Company at Philadanco, located in West Philadelphia, under the direction of Donald T. Lunsford II. As well as rehearsing and performing with the company, she trains at Philadanco weekly, under the direction of founder and Executive Artistic Advisor, Joan Myers Brown, and Artistic Director, Kim Y. Bears-Bailey.
