“Miss Bridget” Carlin has trained in a variety of dance styles from a young age, when she began studying at The Conservatory of Music and Dance.
As her love of dance continued, so did her studies. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Dance. During her time at WCU, she was a member of the University Dance Company, serving both as a dancer and a choreographer. In 2014, she was the recipient of the Barbara J. Lappano Dance Scholarship.
Miss Bridget performed and presented work at the Ladek Zdroj International Dance Festival in Poland in 2013. Her choreographed work has also been presented at the American College Dance Association Conference in 2015, as well as at a showcase in the Philadelphia area.
Miss Bridget currently performs professionally with Ballet 180, Opus 1 Contemporary Dance, and as a freelance artist at various local events, including the Philadelphia Fringe Arts Festival. She also teaches dance, art, and yoga in local schools.
With all of this on her plate, it’s a surprise that she can find a moment of free time to herself! When those precious moments arise, Miss Bridget loves practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and connecting with family and her community. She is excited to be a part of the staff at A2D!
